Okay, so I've been a little lazy with my blog...
I let a whole month get by me!
On January 2, we had Christmas a second time with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Kenny.
They brought presents for the kids, and after lunch the boys put lego sets together while the rest of us played charades.
I got the fish and turtle a new aquarium for Christmas. This one is not as wide, but is much deeper.
The poor fish had hardly any water in the old one! Now the turtle can swim a lot more also, and climb the tree, and sun himself on the platform. We cleaned out the old aquarium and set it up in Becky's room. She now has Tetra's.
Becky had to write and perform a rap about DNA for science class. The boys helped her make a video. She got the highest grade in the class.
The kids had a blast producing the video!
We made a race track cake for James' birthday party. James planted the trees on the cake.
We had his party at Need 2 Speed in Redding.
We had a pizza party and cake in the party room after Go Cart racing.
The kids had a great time on the go carts.
James is a speed demon, he did 11 laps, while the rest of the kids did 8 or 9.
The car on James' cake actually moved around the track.
He had fun racing it around.

After the cake, we went and played 18 holes of blacklight golf.
Everyone had a great time!
I took way too many pictures, because the blacklight murals were amazing!!
It's been a very dry winter, but we did get one good snowstorm on January 23rd.
This is the view out my window at work. The snow was pretty, but did not stay long!
