Lady Raiders vs. Fall River 6/9/10

Becky finally made it home this game!!

I followed her around all of the bases with the camera.

I tried to get her crossing the plate, but I am not quite used to the digital delay yet, so I got her walking back to the dugout after crossing the plate.

They lost again, but they are doing a great job and putting forth the effort. They are starting to get a little discouraged, though! Their season is very short since they start so late, but their coaches are awesome, positive men that use every moment as a teaching moment. The girls are all learning a lot.

Lady Raiders vs. Fall River 6/7/10

Becky's team had a good game and put up a good fight, but they weren't able to win. Becky almost made it home this game, but they got the third out before she got there. :(

If you look way past the umpire's hat hanging on the fence, you can see her way out in right field in the last picture.

Girl Jr. Raiders vs. Westwood 6/5/10 Dbl header

Rebecca finally had her first game! She is far in the outfield in the distance.... See her?
They played against Westwood. Even though they didn't win either game, they learned a lot. I really like their coach, he is constantly teaching, even during games. He doesn't really care if they win or not, as long as they understand their mistakes and learn from them, and consistently show improvement. The other coach was kind of a jerk, but coach Fuentes stayed positive and explained everything to the girls along the way, so they could learn from other players on both teams.

game 2: 10-20 Westwood
The scores aren't that great, but the girls are starting very late this season, and this was their first game.
