The scouts put crosses and flags on all the veterans graves for Veterans day. They had to be at the cemetery at dawn, and it was freezing!!
The next weekend the boys sold soup and hot beverages at the craft fair at the school
I love this picture of my men in uniform! George is Assistant Scout Master
Then the scouts went on a 16 mile bike ride from Shasta Dam to Turtle Bay, which is about 19 miles.
They loaded up early and were gone all day
Thanksgiving Weekend, we stopped in Sacramento on our way down to Teresa's house. The boys had never been, so we went to the crab shack and the railroad museum
Joe's Crab Shack has really cool kids deserts. The plate is shaped like an artist palate. The boys got the build your own sundae, which comes with chocolate sauce and candy so you can decorate your ice cream.
Becky got a Rice Krispy treat shaped like a Crab, a paintbrush, and chocolate, caramel, and strawberry sauces. So much fun!!
We went around Old Sacramento for a while
and went to the train museum
The museum had a model train group setting up for the holidays. There were all kinds of really nice sets with detailed scenery
Our favorite had scenery all made out of Lego's!!
We met George's Mom, Dad, Sister's, and their families at his sister Marie's new house for Thanksgiving breakfast
After breakfast, the annual game of hide and seek began
Becky said she doesn't want to grow anymore, because the taller you get the harder it is to hide
James found a great spot
Cute picture of Thomas and his cousin Drew
James is peeking out like a turtle
All the cousins together
George and his sisters
Becky with Auntie Bev and Alyssa
George's Mom and Dad, and his youngest sister Melina
We also went to see George's sister Bev's new house
The kids had a Nerf war while we toured the house
The weekend following Thanksgiving, we put up our tree
Becky wanted to taste the ornaments
