We went down on Sunday and we broke down in Red Bluff. There were three buses and, to be specific, 2 out of 3 buses broke. The bus I was on had a broken fan belt and the other broken one had something wrong with the water leaking out so that bus had to stop several times and refill it. After a few hours they fixed our bus and we were back on our way.
This is a view of Yosemite Falls from Curry Village. I stayed in Curry Village Monday night through Wednesday morning. I got to walk past this waterfall all those mornings.
I also got to walk past North Dome.
This river is going down the side of a mountain.
These are the tents we stayed in at Curry Village.
This was looking outside of a bus.
This is El Capitan.
Bridal veil falls.
This is the heart of El Capitan.
We had a lot of fun with charcoal.
This is one of the teachers

A walk in the meadow...

This is my hiking group
We stopped by a cemetery and learned about people famous to Yosemite
He was one of the first people to lead a group of tourists to Yosemite
This was his daughters grave.
This man was told by a doctor he would die in a month or two so he built a cabin in Yosemite and planted Giant sequoia trees all around (Giant Sequoias are very rare and only grown in certain places). He ended up living for years and afterwards was buried next to the trees he planted which are still there today.
Sequoia bark
This is a dam I built for our group leader's stuffed beaver. She forgot to take it out of her bag earlier (she also leads 4-6th grade groups so she has stuffed animals)
This cabin housed all of the early Yosemite people.
This is the top of Chilnualna Falls in Wawona. We stayed in Wawona on Wed. night, Thurs. night Friday morning.
This is our hiking group on the swinging bridge.
This is Brina, (or Breena), our Yosemite Instructor. She was super cool and hasn't worn pants since January.
