Rebecca finally had her first game! She is far in the outfield in the distance.... See her?They played against Westwood. Even though they didn't win either game, they learned a lot.
I really like their coach, he is constantly teaching, even during games. He doesn't really care if they win or not, as long as they understand their mistakes and learn from them, and consistently show improvement. The other coach was kind of a jerk, but coach Fuentes stayed positive
and explained everything to the girls along the way, so they could learn from other players on both teams.Scores:

game 2: 10-20 Westwood
The scores aren't that great, but the girls are starting very late this season, and this was their first game.
Wow! You had a full weekend, or should I say week! They actually play games in the rain? They don't let the kids here (well at JOBL, but I don't think Concord American does either) because besides being cold and wet and people will complain, it would tear up the fields.
ReplyDeleteWe don't play if the field is flooded, or has large puddles, but there has been so much rain this year that they have to play sometime!!
