Thursday was a busy day. Rebecca was working after school, James and Thomas both had games scheduled, George was running sound and video for mid week service, and it was our 15 year anniversary. I made sure the boys were both suited up, then James and I drove to Big Valley for his game. Meanwhile, George was to pick up Becky before he went to church, then our friends Willy and Threasa were going to pick up Thomas for his game, because their grandson is on the same team. Thomas' game got rained out, so that eased the schedule somewhat...James' game went on as scheduled, although it was freezing and there were some hard rainstorms off and on during the game. Normally the Majors play 6 innings, but they were tied 3-3 at the bottom of the 6th, so they played a 7th inning, with no runs scored...finally in the 8th inning the other team scored a run, allowing us to all come in out of the rain...
